EDITING

That what we think is a story is more than just a metaphor. It actually the way we access the ability to live in a more responsive and dynamic way. Since our story reflects our experiences, editing and rewriting will impact both the quality and essence of experience. By becoming skillful at editing you can continue to celebrate as an artist of life. By this, we are rewriting the "script" of the life story that we are "starring in".

This can seriously resolve misunderstanding and mistranslations in your story by editing. It allows for changes in plot and characters. Editing can have explore even exploring an alternative ending to your "movie". This  can bring your actions into alignment with your dreams and desires.

Old Dog says, “Admit, appreciate and accept your story as a rich blend of visions, hallucinations, perception, poetry, guesses, and assumptions that you have created.

You can try to claim that your opinion or story is fact or based in scripture. But, these are usually signs that you are sliding out of the “driver’s seat” of your life and letting others write your story or you are just being unwilling to take responsibility for what you think and say.

But, Old Dog says, “Be careful in leaving the “driver’s seat”, you might find that you are the only one in the car."

There is no serious shame or blame in wanting to base or justify what we think on others or outside forces.

Many of us have been raised to have a lack of confidence concering our perceptions of reality. How often have you said, "is it hot in here or is it just me ?"

Old Dog hollars, "if you feel hot then you feel hot. That is your truth in the moment. It doesn't matter if others are feeling the same. Damn, in a moment of intimacy, woud you ask the other person, "Was it good for me ?"

Your editing “tool box” can include the following. Contrasting, discerning and clarifying these elements, as well as many other become “forks in the road” such as these.

Feelings - Thought

Noun - Verb

Fiction - Fact

Work - Play

Response - Reaction

Old Dog says, “Get the erasers out and make your story really entertaining !”
